Pericard was jailed after claiming his stepfather was at the wheel |
Stoke City striker Vincent Pericard has been released from prison. The former Juventus and Portsmouth man was given a four-month sentence at the end of August for trying to lie his way out of a speeding conviction.
Pericard was let out early with an electronic tag but was subsequently re-arrested on 11 October after problems with the device.
The 25-year-old is expected to be available for the Potters' game against Bristol City this weekend.
Pericard was imprisoned for perverting the course of justice, after falsely claiming his stepfather was at the wheel when he was clocked doing 103mph in his Mercedes.
