Peter Sweeney has returned to Stoke following a loan spell at Yeovil. The midfielder made five starts for the Glovers and three substitute appearances at Huish Park after moving to the club in January.
But in recent times he has fallen down the pecking orders and has not featured in the first team of late.
Glovers manager Russell Slade said the 22-year-old had made a valuable contribution in the club's push for a play-off place.
