Stoke defender Carl Dickinson has signed a new 12-month contract. Dickinson, whose new deal runs to June 2008, has made 13 Championship appearances for Stoke this season, either side of a loan at Blackpool.
Chief executive Tony Scholes told Stoke's website: "We're keen to develop him into a better player and want him to fulfil his potential here.
"We're talking to all our younger players, we want to get as many as possible on longer contracts."
