 Russell helped Stoke enjoy a 100% record during November |
Stoke City midfielder Darel Russell has been named as the Championship's player of the month for November. The 26-year-old found the net twice during the month, in the Potters' away wins at Crystal Palace and Hull.
He also helped City enjoy a 100% record in November, as they won each of their five Championship games.
The other candidates for the award were all strikers - Norwich's Rob Earnshaw, Derby's on-loan Sunderland man Jon Stead, and Colchester's Chris Iwelumo.
