Stoke City's Belgian defender Carl Hoefkens has warned manager Tony Pulis he is not prepared to sit on the bench for the rest of the season. Hoefkens, 27, has been dropped for the last three games to the frustration of both the right-back and Stoke fans.
He told the Stoke Sentinel: "I will work as hard as I can until January and see what happens. If I'm not in the team then maybe the gaffer lets me go.
"I'm not tired, but the boss takes the decision and it's disappointing."
