Stoke have suspended director of football John Rudge and assistant manager Jan De Koning for the second time this season. Rudge and De Koning were first placed on leave after a row with manager Johan Boskamp over tactics during the 2-1 win at Coventry at the start of November.
Boskamp had previously said he would leave the Britannia Stadium at the end of the season unless Rudge was sacked.
And now Rudge and De Koning have again been told to stay away from the club.
A statement on the club's website said: "In light of the lack of a resolution between the football management team the board has asked John Rudge and Jan De Koning to stay away from the club pending discussions about their future roles."
Stoke, who are 15th in the Championship, have won only once in the league since mid-December.
