Stoke manager Tony Pulis believes his side did enough to earn an FA Cup third-round replay against Arsenal. "Not many sides go to Highbury and create five good chances. We deserved to take them back to the Britannia Stadium," he said of the 2-1 defeat.
"I can't fault the effort and commitment of our players. They stood up to Arsenal when we had to defend and we were a threat when we attacked.
"The fans were tremendous and I'm sorry we couldn't get them the result."
The Potters took a shock lead just before the half-time break but Arsenal were back on level terms five minutes after the interval.
"If we could have held the lead a little longer it would have been very difficult for Arsenal," Pulis added.
"But they got their equaliser at a very bad time for us and it changed the tie."
