Brammer completes his switch to Stoke |
Former Crewe captain Dave Brammer has signed a two-year contract with Stoke City subject to a medical on Friday. Brammer, 29, could make his debut in a friendly against Newcastle Town on Sunday.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I've joined a club that I feel can match my ambitions and it wasn't all about the money."
Meanwhile, Crewe's highly-rated England Under-17 captain Billy Jones has signed his first professional contract - a three-year deal at Gresty Road.
Jones said: "I now need to continue my improvement, start the season well, and reward the club for showing faith in me."
Long-serving midfielder Kenny Lunt has signed a one-year extension to his contract.
