Stockport County have signed Southend United striker Matt Paterson on a month-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old Scot signed a two-year deal with the Shrimpers in January 2010 from Southampton.
Paterson, who has made 31 first team appearances for Southend, scoring six times, has also won representative honours for Scotland at Under-19 level.
Paterson goes straight into the Hatters squad to face Bury in Saturday's League Two clash at Edgeley Park.
