Gary Ablett has enjoyed three league wins in his 16 games in charge
Stockport County manager Gary Ablett admits that he is hoping to do business in the January transfer window.
"Hopefully there's an opportunity, come January in the transfer window, to do some wheeling and dealing," Ablett told BBC Radio Manchester.
"We may change some personnel and get a little bit more strength in depth."
Struggling Stockport entertain Exeter on Saturday after conceding 11 goals from four successive League One defeats which have left them 21st in the table.
"It's important from games like Exeter at home, which takes on extra importance now, that we stay in touch with teams around us," added Ablett.
"By playing against the top teams, we don't think there's particularly much in the division in terms of quality. But some games take on added importance because we need a win. We are losing too many games.
"We don't seem to be able to stay in a game to take at least something from it. So we've just got to pick them up again and try to get a positive result."
