Dinning, 32, joined the Hatters for a second spell last summer after spells with Wigan, Wolves and Port Vale.

But his contract was mutually terminated before the transfer deadline closed on Friday night to allow him to sign for another club.

Dinning told County's website: "I'm very sad to be leaving, but I need to be playing and hope to get the chance of first-team football elsewhere."
