| Stockport County are set to release young striker Michael Malcolm, after boss Jim Gannon opted not to offer him a new contract. Former Tottenham youngster Malcolm, 21, was linked with a mid-season move to Werder Bremen. Gannon is also set to open contract talks with striker Tes Bramble and defender Rob Clare. Defenders Keith Briggs and Michael Bowler will be offered short-term deals as they recover from injury.
