Stockport County have signed defender Michael Rose from Yeovil Town on a two-year contract. The former Manchester United man has joined on a free transfer and will remain at Edgley Park until June 2008.
Rose, 23, spent three months on loan at Scunthorpe last season where he made 15 appearances in the league.
He started out as a trainee at Old Trafford and signed professional forms in 2000 before making a switch to Chester in July 2001.
