Stevenage Borough have turned down a bid from Peterborough United for forward George Boyd. Boro chairman Phil Wallace said: "Barry Fry is a proven judge of young talent and it's no surprise that he's increased his bid for George.
"We believe we're in with a chance of the play-offs so we want to keep our players together as long as possible," Wallace told his club's website.
Striker Boyd, 21, has scored eight goals for Boro this season.
