St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes is negotiating with Celtic in the hope of having midfielder Rocco Quinn's loan deal made permanent. The 21-year-old has impressed since joining with the First Division outfit in September.
And Saints' website stated: "Derek McInnes is very hopeful that Rocco Quinn can be brought to the club on a permanent basis.
"The on-loan Celt has indicated his desire to stay with Saints."
Quinn had a spell on loan with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League last season.
He has made 12 appearances for St Johnstone, scoring twice for the Perth side.
