Coyle salutes Saints for cup win
St Johnstone manager Owen Coyle
Coyle said his side were sharp in attack against Motherwell
St Johnstone boss Owen Coyle praised his players following the 2-1 Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Motherwell.

"Obviously we're very pleased," said Coyle after the Fir Park victory. "We had a scary five minutes at 2-1, but we always looked a threat going forward.

"We're not saying we are the 'bee's knees', but we have great camaraderie and we've got two or three players who can play a bit.

"We're (in the last four) on merit and we'll give it everything we've got."

Coyle joked that Celtic, Hibernian and Dunfermline would probably want to draw St Johntsone in the semi-finals.

But he added: "We have a half-decent team and we'll just need to see where that takes us."
