St Johnstone striker Steven Milne will be out of action for six weeks after surgery on a knee injury. Milne's operation will see him sidelined until March and boss Owen Coyle said he was disappointed to lose such an important player.
"Obviously it's a blow but I suppose the consolation is that he could have been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign," he said on the club website.
"However, it's a significant loss in a squad that is already quite stretched."
