York defender Chris Brass has extended his loan spell at Conference strugglers Southport for a second month. City's former player-manager is poised to leave York on a permanent basis.
But with a settlement on the remainder of his contract there still to be resolved, Brass has renewed his loan deal with the Sandgrounders.
The 30-year-old has so far started four games for Liam Watson's side, and will now be eligible for Saturday's game against Dagenham & Redbridge.
