Eastwood is keen to leave Southend |
Southend have rejected a 1.5m bid from Norwich for striker Freddy Eastwood. The Canaries have been keeping an eye on the 23-year-old but they must increase their initial offer if they are to bring him to Carrow Road.
"Norwich have made a bid for Freddy but I have told them that they are not offering enough," Shrimpers chairman Ron Martin told the Southend Standard.
Southend have already turned down a 1m offer for the forward from Wolves earlier this summer.
Martin added: "Freddy is being dramatically undervalued and is worth a lot more to this football club than 1.5m.
"That is what I've told Norwich and I still don't want him to leave."
Eastwood could leave Southend on a free transfer at the end of next season when his contract expires.
