Southend have wrapped up the signature of Yeovil goalkeeper Steve Collis on a two-year contract. The 25-year-old joins the newly-promoted Championship side on a free transfer from the Glovers.
Collis is ready to challenge Shrimpers' current number one Darryl Flahaven for a regular starting place.
He told Southend's website: "I'm not signing to sit on the bench. I want to play games, and that sort of healthy competition will benefit both of us."
