 Eastwood has propelled Southend to the top of League One |
Southend striker Freddy Eastwood has been named as League One's player of the month for March. The prolific 22-year-old scored four times during the month, including a brace in the 3-0 win over Hartlepool.
After also scoring on the first day of April, he now has a total of 21 goals from 38 league and cup appearances.
Also shortlisted for the award were Oldham's Luke Beckett, Huddersfield's Andy Booth and Rotherham's on-loan Sheffield United star Jonathan Forte.
