Luke Hobbs is to leave his position as Cambridge United's centre of excellence manager to become youth development officer at Southend United. He follows former U's youth boss Ricky Duncan, who moved to Roots Hall as youth team manager in July.
"Luke has been a good servant of the club, and it is a shame to see him leave," Cambridge vice-chairman John Howard told his club's website.
"He will be working his notice period to allow us to identify a replacement."
