Southampton to release 13 players

Southampton have confirmed that 13 players will be leaving St Mary's when their contracts expire this summer.

Experienced quartet Chris Perry, 37, Graeme Murty, 35, Wayne Thomas, 30, and Jon Otsemobor, 27, head the list of players who will be released.

They are joined by Lloyd James, Simon Gillett, Michael Poke, Jake Thomson, Kayne McLaggon, Jamie White, Oliver Lancashire, Tom Dunford and Jack Boyle.

Bartosz Bialkowski, David Connolly and Ryan Doble will be offered new deals.

Loan duo Papa Waigo N'Diaye and Michail Antonio have returned to parent clubs Fiorentina and Reading respectively.
