Poortvliet was unveiled despite only signing a pre-contract agreement

Southampton's prospective new head coach Jan Poortvliet is "100% sure" his move from Helmund Sport will be completed in the next 10 days.

Poortvliet signed a pre-contract agreement with Saints last week but his former club have so far failed to agree to a compensation package.

He said: "This will be resolved on 16 July at the latest.

"The two boards are talking and I'm 100% sure I will come to Southampton," added the Dutchman.
