Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak says he could not turn down the chance of Premier League football ahead of the Euro 2008 tournament.The 29-year-old Polish international joined Bolton on loan until the end of the season on Thursday.
"The Euros are very important for me and if I am playing for a Premiership team I have a better chance to be part of it," Rasiak told BBC Radio Solent.
"I hope Southampton win promotion but at the moment this is right for me."
Rasiak added: "I still have two and a half years on my contract with Southampton but if I do well and score goals then who knows what the summer will bring?"
Poland have qualified for the European Championships for the first time in their history.
