John Gorman and Jason Dodd have been put in temporary charge |
Southampton midfielder Jermaine Wright said he is enjoying playing under the caretaker management team of Jason Dodd and John Gorman. Gorman and Dodd took over the management of the club temporarily last week after George Burley left to become Scotland's new manager.
"Doddsy's as keen as mustard and John Gorman is so positive," Wright told BBC Radio Solent.
"John puts positive thoughts into the players and it's infectious."
Wright has played in 23 of Southampton's 32 matches so far this season. The 32-year-old joined Saints, following a loan spell at Millwall, back in July 2006.
Dodd and Gorman's second game in charge ended in a 1-0 defeat to Norwich on Tuesday.
Dodd told the BBC after the game that both he and Gorman would carry on in their role until told differently.
They will prepare the team for Saturday's game with Crystal Palace.
