Southampton boss George Burley insists boardroom upheaval will not force him out of St Mary's. The Saints parent plc sacked football board chairman Leon Crouch earlier this week amid a power struggle at the club.
Burley told BBC Radio Solent: "I've served under three chairmen here and they've all supported me to the full.
"You can't dictate who's in charge and we could do with the situation being settled, but when you have full backing, you can't ask for any more."
Southampton's parent plc have announced that they will not be replacing Crouch.
PLC board chairman Ken Dulieu said: "The board feel the that role is largely ambassadorial."
Dulieu and chief executive Jim Hone will continue to run the club on a day-to-day basis.
