Rupert Lowe is under pressure as chairman |
Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe has been dealt a major blow in the struggle for control at St Mary's. Four days ahead of the EGM, Saints second biggest shareholder has decided to back the opposition consortium planning a takeover.
New Forest businessman Leon Crouch, who owns nearly 10% of the shares, will vote for Michael Wilde on Monday.
Crouch told BBC Radio Solent: "Rupert has done some good things but I think it's time for a change at the top."
