Leslie will miss the Wembley final

Shrewsbury have withdrawn their appeal against midfielder Steven Leslie's red card in their win over Bury in the League Two play-off semi-final.

Leslie was sent off in extra time for a challenge on Bury's Stephen Dawson, and will miss the final at Wembley after his side won on penalties.

The club had intended to appeal against the decision but decided against it so Leslie's three-match ban will stand.

Leslie replaced Paul Murray midway through the second half of the match.
