Shrewsbury general manager Jon Harris picks up the league award
Shrewsbury Town's League Two 'Family Club' award has been cited as a factor in this season's excellent home form.
"We like to think the match-day experience has played its part in our 14 home wins this season," said general manager Jon Harris.
"And that what we have done to win this award is making a difference on and off the field.
"We're delighted that we have been recognised for a lot of hard work at the new stadium."
After picking up the award at the Football League's gala dinner in London on Sunday night, Harris added: "Some families had been sitting in the same place for 95 years.
"That had to change, of course - but we wanted to make that an enjoyable experience.
"We moved to the new stadium two years ago and had to recreate the experience a lot of people had become used to.
"We've had great feedback. At every stage, we've made sure we listened to the fans and made realistic changes to improve things for them.
"It's about enhancing the experience for everyone, whether they are six or 60."
