Simpson faces Shrews fans again

Paul Simpson
Paul Simpson follows an open approach to management

Paul Simpson has told Shrewsbury Town followers he will be "as open as he can" at his second Club Night.

"If I were a fan, I'd love the opportunity to quiz the manager," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"All supporters have their opinions, so this is the chance for them to question me on mine."

Simpson will be joined on Thursday night's panel by Town's managing director Rob Bickerton and general manager Jon Harris.

"You never know what's going to hit you, but I'll answer everything as honestly as possible," he told the evening's hosts BBC Radio Shropshire.

Admission to the event this Thursday night (23 October, 2000 BST) at the Prostar Stadium is free, with tickets on the door.

Any fans who are unable to be there but want a question asked can email that question to BBC Radio Shropshire's sports editor James Bond - at [email protected] - and he will aim to put it to the panel on the night.

Radio Shropshire is recording the whole event, for broadcast in the near future.
