Hibbert is waiting for a doctor's verdict on his broken nose

Shrewsbury Town manager Paul Simpson has said he may look to bring in a striker on loan after Dave Hibbert broke his nose in training.

Hibbert has joined fellow forwards Richard Walker and Michael Symes on the club's injury list.

Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire: "He's still training but he's seeing a specialist who'll determine whether he can play at the weekend.

"I'm looking at the loan market although we do have other players."

Simpson could give a chance to out-of-favour Guy Madjo for Saturday's home game with Gillingham.
