Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has moved to strengthen his squad with the signing of three new players. Guy Madjo has arrived from Crawley for 20,000, Keith Briggs has joined from Stockport, and ex-Derby youngster James Meredith has moved from Sligo.
Striker Madjo, 23, and midfielder Briggs, 26, both made their debuts in Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Hereford, with Briggs netting for the Shrews.
Peters is still looking to boost his side's firepower with another striker.
Madjo has scored goals in non-league football with Forest Green Rovers, Stafford Rangers and Crawley and recently enjoyed a loan spell with League One Cheltenham Town.
Briggs, whose last game for Stockport was against the Shrews on Boxing Day, has joined on a non-contract basis, while Meredith, who was released by the Rams at the end of last season, has agreed an 18-month contract.
Peters told BBC Radio Shropshire he was pleased to have the trio on board.
"Madjo's quick and strong with a lot of talent," Peters said.
"Briggs has been doing well in training for us, and we both want to see what he can do for us, while Meredith's a young player with great promise who can provide cover for Mark Tierney and Colin Murdock at the back."
Peters hinted Madjo will not be his only striker signing.
"Madjo looked good on his debut at Hereford, but overall we're not converting chances into goals," Peters added.
