| Shrewsbury Town has received 50,000 after former player Dave Edwards made his senior debut for Wales on Saturday. The club sold Edwards to Luton Town for 250,000 in the summer, with a clause allowing for an extra 150,000 based on appearances for club and country. "I thought the extras would come, so we will get all of that 400,000," manager Gary Peters told the Shropshire Star. "I'm delighted for Dave because he's a great lad and I have had a few chats with him since he left."
