Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters has released skipper Richard Hope and fellow defender Sagi Burton. "They have been brilliant around the dressing room all season and I'm disappointed to see them go," Peters told the club's website.
"Richard has been a great captain. He has also been away from his family for two years as they have remained in the North East."
Loan signings Leo Fortune-West and Mike Jones have returned to their clubs.
