Shrewsbury Town manager Gary Peters has signed midfielder David Hunt from Northampton Town. The 24-year-old turned down the offer of a new contract with the Cobblers to sign a two-year-deal with Shrewsbury.
"He's young, strong, athletic and the right type of player to join our squad," Peters told the club website.
"One thing about David is he has an excellent long throw. That's not the reason we've brought him in, he's been signed for his football ability first."
