The 25-year-old, who played for Arsenal and Torquay before Boston, will stay at Shrews until the end of the season.

"He's out of contract in the summer and wants to keep his options open, but we'll be doing our best to make him feel at home here," said Peters.

"He's a talented player I've been after for some time, and I know a number of other clubs were chasing him too."
