Shrewsbury Town have signed Oldham Athletic defender Marc Tierney on a free transfer. The 21-year-old left-back has joined the Shrews on a two-and-a-half year deal with a 30 per cent sell-on fee included by Oldham.
Tierney made 47 appearances after coming through the Latics youth set-up.
Shrews boss Gary Peters told his club's website: "He?s someone I've seen a lot of and always liked. I?ve been after this lad for 18 months."
