| Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters says Gavin Cowan's move to Grays Athletic is good for the player and both clubs. "He's been unlucky with the form of other players and has done well when called on but it's time for eveyone to move on," he told the club's website. "He's got enough ability to do well, he's a footballing centre-half who wants to get the ball down and play. "Hopefully Gav will enjoy his football at Grays. It's a good move for him and I'm sure he'll do well for them."
