Leroy Rosenior will only leave his role as first-team coach at Shrewsbury if the right managerial post comes along. The former Torquay boss, who has been interviewed for the Peterborough job, told BBC Sport: "If I don't get it I'll be happy to stay at Shrewsbury.
"I'm not just going to return to management just so I can be a manager again. It has to be the right one.
"It's got to be a job that has potential which reflects my ambition and Peterborough certainly does that."
