Wadsworth has decides to leave Gay Meadow |
Mick Wadsworth has resigned as Shrewsbury Town assistant boss because he wants to pursue his own career as a coach or manager. He joined the Shrews in January 2005 to become number two to Gary Peters.
"I don't think I've worked at a nicer club, I only see good fortune ahead for Shrewsbury," he told the club website.
Wadsworth has previously been boss at Carlisle, Scarborough, Colchester, Oldham and Huddersfield, and the number two at Southampton and Newcastle.
He also had a spell in charge of Portuguese side Beira-Mar and has also coached Congo.
