Aiston has also been warned about his future conduct, although Ratcliffe would not elaborate on the decision as he prepared the team for their clash with Darlington on Tuesday. A club statement read: "Following recent incidents, Shrewsbury Town Football Club wish it to be known that the manager Kevin Ratcliffe has fined winger Sam Aiston the maximum permitted by the Football League regulations, censored him and warned him as to his future conduct. "Sam is a talented and valued member of Shrewsbury Town's playing staff, but has been told in no uncertain terms that the club are not prepared to tolerate breaches of discipline by players."
