Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay has described his Steel City derby winner on Saturday as the best goal he has ever scored.

The 26-year-old struck his 10th goal of the season to win the match for the Owls and complete their first double over the Blades for 95 years.

Tudgay told BBC Radio Sheffield: "That was one of those goals that'll stay in my memory for a very, very long time.

"The fans were great, played a great part in the game and we deserved it."

He added: "We're allowed Monday off so it'll be a good weekend."
