Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has warned fans not to read anything into the side he picks to face Wigan.

The Owls entertain the Premier League side at Hillsborough on Saturday in their final pre-season friendly.

Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield that there are still a number of places up for grabs.

"You can almost read the defence but not with the midfield and strikers," he said. "There's competition in places and I haven't formulated the team yet."
