Winger Wade Small has added to Sheffield Wednesday's growing injury problems and is a doubt for this Saturday's clash with Blackpool.

The 24-year-old suffered a hamstring injury against Plymouth on Monday.

Manager Brian Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Every game that goes by we pick up another one."

However, Laws is hopeful that utility player Steve Watson and experienced midfielder Graham Kavanagh will be fit to face the Tangerines at the weekend.

He said: "We're going to scan [Watson's groin injury] but I don't foresee it being a long one, I think he'll be ready for the weekend.

"Graham's injury is not as bad as we first thought, hopefully he'll be available for the weekend."
