Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has offered new contracts to four of his players and released five members of his squad. The Owls manager has offered deals to Lee Bullen, Deon Burton, Steven MacLean and Sean McAllister.
They expect defender Bullen, 36, and striker Burton, 30, to sign up and are awaiting a response from the other two.
Meanwhile, Steve Adams, Chris Adamson, Andy Broadbent, Barry Corr and John Hills have been told they can leave.
