Carson played nine times on loan at Sheffield Wednesday last term |
Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson says he is still keen on a move to Sheffield Wednesday and believes a loan deal could be revived next week. Owls boss Paul Sturrock had said that he would not pursue a deal for Carson.
But the 20-year-old's agent is due for talks with Reds boss Rafa Benitez after the weekend to discuss a possible move.
Carson told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I would be keen to go back to Hilsborough but I must wait until I go to Liverpool on 24 July to find out what they say."
Carson added: "Wednesday are on of the few clubs I would like to go to, I know my agent is going to have a meeting next week to hopefully sort everything out."
