Nade is looking forward to turning out in the Premiership |
Sheffield United have signed French striker Christian Nade from Troyes on a three-year contract. Nade, 21, has spent nearly all of his career at Troyes but did have a six-month loan spell at Le Harve and is a French under-21 international.
"It is a dream come true for me to come to England to play," Nade told the club's website.
"I could have stayed in France and at Troyes but this is a great opportunity for me."
Former Sheffield United striker Laurent D'Jaffo helped Blades boss Neil Warnock scour the French market and added: "Christian is a strong, quick, central striker. He's not exactly your English target man but he can hold the ball up well.
"His English is not great at the moment, but he is keen to learn both on and off the pitch."
