Bromby had a year left on his deal |
Sheffield United defender Leigh Bromby has agreed a new four-year deal with the club, BBC Radio Sheffield reports. The 26-year-old, who has just recovered from a knee problem, had a year left to run on his current contract but has decided to extend his stay.
Boss Neil Warnock said: "He's got his reward and an increase in salary but I think it's a two-way thing.
"We see Leigh Bromby as an important part of the club's future and Leigh feels the same way."
Warnock added: "I think the only way to way forward was to offer him a longer contract and I'm absolutely thrilled that he's signed it."
