Scunthorpe have completed the signing of striker Paul Hayes from Barnsley. Hayes, 23, left for Oakwell two years ago but has now returned on a three-year deal with the fee set to be decided by a tribunal.
"I am really excited about the prospect of Paul coming back," boss Nigel Adkins told the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph.
"There is a suggestion that he's a bit lazy but I know he is a very, very good player with an eye for goal. I know he is also very hungry and ambitious."
